I was looking at my “blog stats” to see how many visitors I got and when and all that. And I looked at which pieces have been viewed the most and no matter what I do, the “About” section is always the most looked at. And up until this point I haven’t even had anything written here. i sometimes don’t respond when someone has written something beautiful because it is like handing someone a twinkie when they just fed you chocolate souffle…but this is an amazing blog- i am struck by the combo of detailed observation, human realism painted with surreal imagery, and a sprinkling of profundity (more than that is more than i can usually digest!!). love the line about the last day of the favorite season. oh, and as far as the ABOUT section goes….yes, i clicked it!- i think i was expecting to learn about your motivation for doing this, or some other type of contextualization for this in your life. keep em coming!
